So, this is my first blog post ... ever! The main use for this blog is going to be commenting on different typography and my thoughts around it. It will also work as a "diary" where I analyze typography from different places, areas etc. for an essay.
The other day, I saw this label on a wine bottle, and it did catch my eye. I think it is interesting how the name Ravelli is in a grid and that you can see how the font is constructed. In other circumstances, the fact that you can see the body of a construction may make it look unfinished in a way. But in this case I feel that it actually makes the name special. You feel like you are part of the making in a way. What do you think?
