I have been thinking about how you trust handwritten documents versus computer written documents, and I think it depends on the context. If you are to sign a contract, I would trust a computer written one more than a handwritten. Which in a way is strange if the words are exactly the same.. But I think it has to do with the fact that a contract made on a computer looks a lot more professional, which again makes it a lot more trustworthy, because we all trust the professional. But then again, a written and signed contract is a written and signed contract!
What is it that makes us trust something more when it is made by a computer? Does it make the words more real? But then again, what is more real than someones handwriting?
Just something to think a bit more about . . .
